An automated research brief needs a trail back to the facts.

A concise company summary is easy to read. It becomes useful for a partnership decision when you can trace its important claims to their sources.

The decision that matters

Separate collection from judgment. First collect the company URL, relevant source excerpts, and retrieval dates. Then draft the brief using those inputs. Keep “verified fact,” “inference,” and “question for the company” as separate fields. A funding announcement belongs in the evidence column; willingness to buy creator content remains unknown until there is direct evidence.

A TEST WORTH RUNNING

Try one bounded task.

Build a small workflow for three companies using public official pages. Require a source URL beside every feature or program claim. Feed it one inaccessible page and one page without partnership information. The expected result is an explicit gap, not a confident substitute. Manually check the resulting briefs.

What to capture

Record sourced claims, unsupported claims, inaccessible sources, manual corrections, and total review time. Compare the complete process with writing one brief manually.

Where this analysis stops

This workflow has not been built or run for this article. Access, integrations, and model costs need checking before implementation. Automation does not remove editorial review.
