START WITH ONE USEFUL PIECE

The product story pilot.

One audience. One task. One clear explanation your team can use.

What we make

One 60 to 90-second product demonstration with captions, plus a 400 to 600-word companion explanation. A script is agreed before recording, with one consolidated revision round.

What we need

Suitable product access, one representative task, an agreed audience, and a contact for factual checks. Timing and the production fee are confirmed after the brief.

What we agree separately

Posting on my account, newsletter placement, paid advertising, licensing duration, source files, extra revisions, and exclusivity. No guaranteed views, conversions, or positive verdict.

THREE WAYS TO COLLABORATE

Choose the work you need.

Product demonstrations

A clear explanation for your company’s channels, built around a task I can reproduce. Production is priced separately from distribution and usage rights.

Sponsored placements

A relevant story on my LinkedIn or in the newsletter. Audience fit, current audience data, placement, and disclosure are agreed before booking.

Affiliate collaborations

Relevant product referrals under agreed attribution and commission terms. Coverage depends on editorial fit and evidence. Joining a program does not guarantee a recommendation.

INDEPENDENT WORK / FOR BRAND TEAMS

See the work before the proposal.

These are samples created for Useful in Practice, not commissioned brand campaigns.

Scope the work clearly.

Part of the agreementWhat we define
ProductionFormat, task, script approval, deadline, and revision round.
DistributionWhich account or publication, placement, and current audience evidence.
UsageChannels, duration, territory, editing rights, and source files.
Advertising and exclusivitySeparate permissions, term, scope, and fee.

Current audience metrics are not published here. Any distribution proposal needs dated platform data before agreement. Production can be scoped independently of audience reach.

INDEPENDENT EDITORIAL SAMPLES

See how I think.

These product analyses demonstrate my editorial approach. They are not client work, commissioned endorsements, or completed product tests.

A STORY FROM MY OWN SITE

Turning signup friction into a clear product explanation.

A design note with a visual reconstruction of the problem and correction. It shows the editorial approach without claiming measured results.

OTHER WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER

Teach the task.
Show the tradeoffs.

Standalone tutorials, content for your own channels, and recurring product education can be scoped around a demonstrated audience need.

A clear agreement before production

We define deliverables, fees, payment dates, access, factual review, usage rights, and cancellation terms. Material relationships are disclosed. Sponsored distribution and affiliate arrangements require an appropriate audience and a relevant product.
