1. Write the promise first
Tell people what they will receive and how often. Keep the request simple: an email address, an understandable button, and a short explanation of what comes next. Use the example below as a writing prompt, not a guaranteed conversion formula.

2. Create and embed the form
Kit’s documentation describes creating a form and copying its JavaScript embed into an HTML area on your site. Use the code generated for your own form. A separate Kit landing page is not required for an embedded form.

3. Check the visible interaction
Confirm the email field appears, the label is understandable, and the button is easy to see. Tab through the form with a keyboard and check it at a narrow screen width. Review an invalid address and a valid address separately.
On this site, Stephen reported a missing email field and a hard-to-see button. The implementation now includes a field repair and stronger button contrast. Those changes alone do not establish successful delivery.
4. Verify the part you cannot see on the page
Submit an address you control, check its record in Kit, complete any configured confirmation step, and confirm the expected message arrives. Record the form, date, browser, visible response, subscriber status, and inbox outcome. Keep personal details out of public screenshots.
5. Make the first email useful
Deliver what you promised, link to the starting resource, and explain the publication’s cadence. Test any resource link before enabling an automated sequence. Do not promise instant email delivery until that behavior is configured and verified.
Keep a simpler route available
A link to your form’s hosted share page is another option if embedding is not suitable. Use the actual share link supplied by Kit. Kit’s form and landing-page guidance
